2024 Rental Rates
Group use of whole camp: weekends $275/night, weekdays $200/night
Day use weekday (8 hours) rate – $125 .
- Weekly rates available. Inquire with registrar. Special pricing may be in effect for very large groups to cover additional septic pumping.
- Damage deposit = one day rental.
- Pet Deposit = $100. Please clean up after your pets.
- $50/ hour for labour for any excess clean up
- $75 minimum charge per cabin or meeting room
- 15% discount for members of Surprise Lake Society
- 10% off for registered charities
Liability: The Surprise Lake Society has liability insurance coverage for the facilities and any events it may put on but any group renting the Camp Facility will have to have $1,000,000 of their own liability insurance for any event or activity they are doing at the camp. Surprise Lake Society and Yellowhead County must be named as Additional Named Insured.
Reservations
A reservation fee of $100 will be charged for those wanting to reserve a spot in the summer schedule with that fee being applied to the balance owing with the rental.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation, the reservation fee will be refunded less $50 (administration fee).
